My First Year as a Junior Accountant
As a junior accountant, you work under the supervision of experienced professionals. Being a junior accountant is a constant learning experience with many challenges. You will be involved in providing technical and professional administration of financial management and accounting functions, carrying out the following tasks under the supervision of experienced professionals:
• Preparation of bookkeeping
• Reconciliation of accounts
• Balancing of ledgers
• Preparing tax and VAT declarations, etc.
You’ll have the unique opportunity to learn a great deal about each client's business, leveraging the experience of other team members and the global KPMG network. You will receive a great deal of training along with the opportunity to further develop skills and competencies acquired at high school, because people are the most important asset at KPMG. Training directed to the practical aspects of your new profession will give you a solid base for fulfilling your tasks at a higher level.
You will be working as part of a stimulating, young and dynamic team at KPMG Fiduciaire, where active communication and the transfer of know-how are emphasized. In the meantime you are also supported and coached by experienced staff members towards your qualification for the profession of accountant (IAB).
