My First Year as a Junior Auditor
Audit is more than just checking figures; it’s about being able to objectively understand the client’s way of working, using your social and analyzing skills.
While performing the different tests on the financial data, you are working with the client's employees as well as with the financial director of the company. You will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of companies, perhaps as many as 20 or more in a given year.
Being an auditor at KPMG is a constant learning process. You have the opportunity from the start to take a look into the client’s business processes, and to apply the KPMG audit methodology. You have a unique opportunity to learn a great deal about each new client, leveraging the experience of your fellow team members and the global KPMG network, combining business insight and technology.
In terms of culture, audit is the largest practice of KPMG and is very social. You will have many opportunities to mix with people from your own and other practices, including managers and partners. In the meantime you are also supported and coached by experienced staff members towards your qualification for the profession of auditor (IBR).
We organized several social events, such as bowling, paintball, cocktail parties, …. So if you are looking for a job with variety, daily training on the job and a good atmosphere in a motivated young and dynamic team, then becoming a junior auditor can be your dream job!
